2 Cycle Model Airplane Engine
by: Jim Pennington
This drawing done with TurboCAD v9.5 Professional got me a bit of notoriety of sorts.  It was selected and used on the user's manual of the UK version of TurboCAD v10 Professional published by Avanquest software.  Avanquest is a republisher of IMSI's  TurboCAD in the United Kingdom.  Below are additional views of the model engine with one view showing a propeller mounted.  Drawing that propeller was not fun.
These additional views show what can be done with 3D CAD.  The drawn object can be rotated in any position and viewed.  Most people think my CAD drawings are merely pictures I created but are astonished to find that these drawn objects are not flat entities but are instead 3D objects that reside in the computer.  Any desired viewing angle can be requested of the CAD program and it will provide it.
