A Model Steam Engine
by: Jim Pennington
As a young lad I had a working model of an actual steam engine.  My brother and I played with this toy until we literally wore it out running it.  One day, while remembering old times, I thought about that little steam engine and decided it would be fun to try drawing one.  This image is the result of those efforts and I hope you enjoy seeing it.

I received an email from Avanquest Media Gold, who is a republisher of IMSI's TurboCAD
in the United Kingdom, and they told me that they were interested in using one of my images
on the cover of the TurboCAD v10 Professional user's manual.  The image they were
interested in was a "render" of a model airplane engine that I had posted on the TurboCAD
User's Forum on the internet.  Subsequently, Avanquest did use my image on the version 10
pro software.  A bit over a year later, I was again contacted and asked if I had anything I
could submit for their consideration that could be used on the upcoming UK TurboCAD v11
Professional user's manual.  I sent them this render of the model steam engine and for the
second time I was honored that another of my images was selected to be used on the v11
pro software.
