2 Cycle Model Airplane Engine
By: Jim Pennington
This TurboCAD drawing got me a bit of notoriety
of sorts. It was selected and used on the user's manual of the UK
version TurboCAD's newly released version 10 software.
Mediagold UK is
the republisher of IMSI's TurboCAD in the United Kingdom. Below are
additional views of the model engine with one view showing a propeller
mounted. Drawing that propeller is another story in itself. Jim
These additional views show what can be done with 3D CAD. The drawn object can be rotated in any position and viewed. Most people think my CAD drawings are simply a picture I drew and are astonished to be informed that no, these are not flat pictures but instead are views determined by the viewing angle requested of the program. The objects actually exist in the computer files as 3 dimensional objects.
